  • Welcome to Jenkins County High School, Home of the War Eagles, and where “All Students Will Graduate With A Meaningful Diploma.” I am excited to be a part of such a dynamic student body, professional faculty and staff and caring community that commits itself to excellence each day. JCHS is elated to have made AYP (Adequate Yearly Progress) last school term, and we are committed to making AYP again this school term.

    JROTC has been a very successful program that we implemented this school year. Our cadets are learning valuable leadership skills which impact our entire school in a positive manner. Students are participating in record numbers in club activities, sports, and academic teams. Already this year, our Competition Cheerleaders have won the Region and our One Act Play has won Region Runner-Up honors.

    I encourage parents to get involved in their children’s education daily. We are excited to be able to offer PowerSchool to our parents. This powerful tool allows a parent to view his/her child’s grades and attendance history anytime with a few clicks of a button. Also, I encourage our community to continue to embrace us and our efforts as we try to make a difference in each student’s life.
